We already knew that eating Caviar is a stimulating and pleasurable experience, but did you know that eating Caviar can actually help cure depression and other mental health disorders? This is because fish eggs contain significant amounts of the much sought-after Omega-3 fatty acids. Studies have shown that a diet rich in these fats can reduce the amount of depressive episodes in people suffering from bipolor disorder and other forms of manic depression.
History
The French began enjoying Caviar as early as 1553, according to references by Rabelais in his literature. In 1741, the delicacy was also mentioned in the "Larousse Gastronomique cites la Dictionnaire du Commerce", as the hors d’ouevre of choice at the "best tables" in France.
Nutrition
This indulgence is not only delicious, but guilt-free too…One tablespoon of caviar has only 40 calories and 2.8 g of fat.
